Sections

Each page of your website is made up of sections. These sections are delimited by dotted lines in the page builder. Several functions are accessible by hovering over the mouse (Section Block in the upper right corner).

• Create sections to expand the content of your page
• Duplicate sections to speed up your manipulations
• Hide a section to prepare content
• Delete a section to streamline your content
• Move a section to suit your writing needs

Creating a section

With your page now created, you can now add sections to structure it.

1. Hover over the + icon in the center of the page and click on Add section .
2. Select the section format corresponding to the desired number of columns, as well as the desired proportions .
3. When your section is created, you are ready to add one or more elements.
4. Above and below all sections, you will find the + icon to add a new section.

Configure the section

• Hover over the section in question and click on the Edit  option in the Section block (upper right corner of the section).
• Title: Name your section (FR/EN) and determine whether or not you want to display this title.
  • If the title is displayed, be sure to mark up your title, add a color, and align the title properly.
• Style:
  • Layout: Choose the desired width of your section.
  • Background: Choose a background color or add a background image.
  • Padding: Manage the spacing of your section on different screen sizes (desktop, tablet, and mobile) on both vertical and horizontal axes.
  • Animation: Option to apply animation to your section (fade, slide, scale) and manage the speed of the animation.
  • Parallax: Option to enable a parallax animation on a section and determine the speed of the animation.
• Advanced:
  • Section ID: Option to add a section identifier. This allows you to create section anchors, for example. This identifier must be composed of lowercase characters and must not contain any special characters.
  • Display languages: Option to display your section in a single language. If none of the languages are checked, the section will display in all languages.
• Save your changes.

Set a section template

This feature allows you to define a section as a template and use it throughout your website to replicate its structure, visuals, and settings. Easily create new sections by reusing your favorite visuals to maintain consistency on the website while optimizing your content integration time.

To define a section template:

1. In the page builder, hover over the section you want to define as a template.
2. Click on the option Create a template  in the Section block (upper right corner of the section).
3. Name your template so that you can easily find it and save it.

Using a section template

1. In the page builder, where you want to add a section, click on the Add a section button and select the My templates option.
2. Select the desired template from the list.
3. The section will be automatically added to your page, and you can edit it normally.

Duplicating a section

• Hover over the section you want to duplicate.
• Click on the option Duplicate  in the Section block (upper right corner of the section).
• The new duplicated section will appear under the initial section.
• You can then modify the new duplicated section.
• You can move the duplicated section in the page as needed.

Hiding a section

• Hover over the section you want to hide.
• Click on the option Hide section  in the Section block (upper right corner of the section).
• The section will be automatically hidden in the public version of the website.
• Click on this option again to make the section reappear on the website.

Note: While the section is hidden from the public, you can modify your section without any problem.

You can also hide a section according to the language via the Advanced tab of the section settings.

Deleting a section

• Hover over the section you want to delete.
• Click on the option Delete section  in the Section block (upper right corner of the section).
• Confirm that you want to delete the section.
• The section will then be deleted from the page.

Moving a section

• From the side menu, select the option Move sections .
• Click on the section you want to move (sections will be numbered based on their position in the page) and drag the section to the desired location using the drag and drop technique.
• Save your changes.
