Reduction code

Generate promo codes to boost sales. Whether it's an incentive discount on a first purchase, a promotion for an event or simply to build customer loyalty.

Access the reduction code

1. Log in to your website's administrative platform.
2. From the side menu, go to Marketing, then to Reduction code.
3. From this page, you have access to all the discount codes created on the platform.

Create a reduction code

1. From the side menu, go to Marketing, then to Reduction code.
2. Click on Add promotional code.
3. Via the Information tab, fill in the requested information (FR/EN)
   1. Code
      1. This code must be alphanumeric.
      2. This code must be unique.
   2. Name
   3. Description (optional)
   4. Value
   5. Discount type
   6. Start date and End date

      If you want to create a discount code without an expiration date, leave these fields blank.

   7. Type of use
      1. You have several options:
         1. 1 use per user (user can use this code only once)
         2. Infinite usage per user (user can use this code multiple times)
         3. X use(s) per user (the user can use this code the number of times indicated)
         4. X use(s) for all users (the code can be used the number of times indicated)
4. Via the User Group tab, decide if the code applies to all or to a specific group(s).
5. Via the Conditions tab, decide on the settings for your discount code:
   1. Does it apply to recurrences?
   2. Does it apply to certain product types only?
   3. Does it apply to all currencies on the site?
   4. Does it apply to all product categories?
6. Save.

Delete a reduction code

1. From the side menu, go to Marketing, then to Reduction code.
2. Click on the discount code you wish to delete.
3. Click on the trash can.
4. Confirm the deletion.

Note that at any time, you can make the code expire with the end date. This allows you to deactivate the code while keeping a history of the codes created on your platform.
